Kenneth E. Hall

Kenneth Eugene Hall, 77, of Goodman, Mo., departed this life on Sunday, May 22, 2016, at Joplin Health and Rehabilitation in Joplin, Mo. He was born Feb. 1, 1939, in Goodman, one of eight children born to the late Willard and Christine (White) Hall. He had lived in Goodman all of his life.
He married the love of his life, Beulah Cummings, on May 11, 1957, in New Bethel. He was a farmer raising produce and cattle, drove a school bus for over 30 years with the McDonald County School District and was a car salesman for McCracken Motors. He attended the Full Gospel Trinity Church in Goodman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Harold Hall, Oliver Hall and Charlie Hall.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Beulah Hall, of the home; three children, Kelvin Hall and wife Metsy of Neosho, Mo., Margie and Bryan Howard of Neosho, and Tami Cotton of Anderson, Mo.; a brother, Fred Hall of Goodman; three sisters, Nila Grissom and husband Ernie of Everton, Mo., Ernestine Anderson of Neosho, and Mildred Cook and husband Vernie of Neosho; two grandchildren, Benjamin Hall and wife Courtney of Neosho, and Matthew Hall and wife Brandi of Granby, Mo.; three great-grandchildren, Skyler Hall, Logan Hall and Baylee Dixon; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him.
Funeral service was held Wednesday, May 25, 2016, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes. Pastors Mark Hall and Robert Nutting officiated. Burial followed in the Banner Cemetery in Goodman.
Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers were Todd Frenken, Rod Fields, Gene Hall, Rick Hall, Ben Hall and Matthew Hall. Honorary pallbearers were Bryan Howard, Richard Bergen, Glen Eads, Larry Newton, Kenny Christerson, Brent Cotton and Lou Keeling.
Visitation was held Wednesday, May 25, 2016, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark funeral homes. The family received friends at that time.

Lee Tate Jones

Lee Tate Jones, 76, passed away at his home in Oxford, Kan., Friday, May 20, 2016. He was born Sept. 29, 1939, in Chalybeate, Miss., to loving parents, William Lee and Velma (Moore) Jones.
When he was of age, Lee joined the United States Marines Corps and proudly served from 1959-1964. On July 23, 1973, he was united in marriage with Ceolah (Drake) in Newton, Kan. He enjoyed working for the city of Winfield for 25 years. He enjoyed fishing, bingo, was a member of the American Legion, and he loved to talk to people. He truly never met a stranger. More than anything, he loved his family and spending time with them.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Helen Cagle; and son, Mark A. Colston.
He is survived by his wife, Ceolah Jones of Oxford; son, Troy A. Colston and wife Candace of Kennesaw, Ga.; daughter, Missy Colston and fiancé Jarrod Long of Winfield; brother, Tommy Jones and wife Donna of Halstead, Kan; sister, Brenda Schultz and husband Jerry of Newton, Kan; brother, Stan Jones and wife Jackie of Newton; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at the Kansas Veterans’ Cemetery of Winfield Tuesday, May 24.
Visitation with family present was Monday, May 23, at the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield, Kan.
Memorial contributions in Lee’s name can be made to the Family Worship Center of Baton Rouge and may be left in care of Shelley Family Funeral Home.
Ella LuCille Woller

Ella LuCille Woller, 90, of Colorado, died on Sunday, May 8, 2016. She was born in Lyon County, Ky., on Feb. 27, 1926, to George and Henrietta Barrett.
She graduated from Eddyville High School and later attended Murray State College. In 1946, she married Leo F. Woller of Colorado and moved with him to many U.S. Army stations, including Japan, Oklahoma, Washington and Germany.
In Oklahoma she worked for Arkla Gas Company and Civil Service. After both she and Leo retired in 1977, they moved to Noel, Mo., where they enjoyed gardening and raising animals. They later moved to Anderson, Mo. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Anderson, where she sang in the choir.
In 2003, she moved to Good Samaritan Village in Loveland, Colo., where she gardened and sang with the Good Sam Singers choir. She lived at Serenity House in Englewood, Colo., from 2015 until her death.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo; her oldest daughter, Janet; and her siblings.
She is survived by her daughter, Joelle Hogue; son, Kevin (Pam) Woller; grandchildren, Dara (Bert) Hargrave, Barrett Hogue (Kathryn Park), Derek (Elizabeth) Woller and Kendra (Robbie) Bryan; and great-grandchildren, Corwin Hargrave, Lennox Hargrave and Madeleine Hogue.
She was interred at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver on May 16, 2016.
