Robert R. Staib

Oct. 20, 1940 June 16, 2016 Robert R. Staib, 75, of Goodman, Mo., died June 16, 2016, in Joplin, Mo., following a lengthy illness. He was born Oct. 20, 1940, in Neosho, Mo., the son of Raymond A. and Hattie Staib.

He was a lifelong area resident. He graduated from Neosho High School and had worked as a dairy farmer. He enjoyed bowling, playing pool at the senior center and was an avid Cardinal fan. He was a member of the Splitlog Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Kade; and his granddaughter, Rachael.

He is survived by five children, Amey Burkett and husband, Robert, of Jane, Mo., David Staib and wife, Janelle, of Goodman, Sara Burr and husband, Tim, of Goodman, Christina Staib of Bentonville, Ark., and John Staib and wife, Amanda, of Pea Ridge, Ark; one sister, Judy Fackler and husband, Robert, of Neosho; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Memorial services were held Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at Splitlog Baptist Church with. Pastor Shan Cobb and J.R. Burr officiating.

Services were under the direction of Clark Funeral Home in Neosho.
