Marion Dale Buttry, 46, of Pineville, Mo., departed this life on Sunday, May 28, 2017, in the comfort of his home, after a long battle with heart disease. He entered this life on June 15, 1970, in Bentonvill­e, Ark., born to the union of Kathy (Morgan) Buttry and the late J.D. Buttry.

He was raised in Bentonvill­e and was a 1988 graduate of Bentonvill­e High School. He was a gifted mechanic throughout his life. For several years he was employed as a mechanic with Walmart, eventually becoming manager of their fleet division. On March 25, 2002, he was united in marriage to Audra Colleen “Buffy” Farish and together they shared the last 15 years. They resided in Pineville since 2006. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and loved spending time under the hood of just about any vehicle.

He is survived by his wife, Buffy Buttry of the home; six children, Tara Facio and wife, Marissa, of Rogers, Ark., Steven Buttry and wife, Casey, of Pea Ridge, Ark., Brittany Ashlock and husband, Jeremy, of Rogers, Shelby Stoecker and husband, Juno, of Pineville, Mallory Buttry of Pineville and Pvt. Kaleb Buttry also of Pineville; five grandchild­ren; his mother, Kathy Buttry of Pea Ridge; four brothers, Dexter Cochran and wife, Teresa, of Garfield, Ark., Micky Buttry of Centerton, Ark., Marty Buttry and wife, Michelle, of Avoca, Ark. and his twin brother, Marvin Buttry and wife, Nancy, of Jane, Mo.; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2017, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Brother Bill Rogers officiatin­g. Burial followed in the Pineville Cemetery. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearer­s were Steven Buttry, Kaleb Buttry, Jeremy Ashlock, Juno Stoecker, Marty Buttry and Keith Bolen. The family received friends on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
