June 27, 1937 Sept. 20, 2018 Clyde Leon Moss, 81, of Noel, Mo., died Thurs­day, Sept. 20, 2018, in the com­fort of his home af­ter a long bat­tle with can­cer.

He was born June 27, 1937, in South­west City, Mo., to Faye and Lenora (Lys­ter) Moss. He was raised and grad­u­ated from high school in South­west City. He worked for Hud­son and Tyson Foods as a truck driver. He en­joyed fish­ing, hunt­ing and be­ing out­doors. He was of the Bap­tist faith.

He was pre­ceded in death by his par­ents; and one brother, Mar­ion Moss.

Sur­vivors in­clude his wife of 16 years, Jan­ice Moss of the home; four chil­dren, Martha Lou Rose of Pryor, Okla., Tonya Oliver of Neosho, Mo., Pam Men­den­hall (Paul) of Seneca, Mo., Steven Swink (Robin) of Noel; nine grand­chil­dren; and two brothers, Melvin Moss (Fyra) of Seneca and Ed­ward Moss of Di­a­mond, Mo.

Grave­side fu­neral ser­vices were held Mon­day, Sept. 24, 2018, at the South­west City Ceme­tery with Brother Rus­sell Thomas of­fi­ci­at­ing.
