Robert “Bob” Dale Austin, 61, of Noel, Mo., died Monday, Oct. 8, 2018, at his home.
He was born Jan. 14, 1957, in Bartlesville, Okla., to Robert B. and Helen Lorene (Mann) Austin. He worked for 10 years at Hudson Foods in Noel. He married Shirley Abercrombie on Aug. 2, 1985, in Miami, Okla. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, hunting, water skiing and working on automobiles.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert B. Austin in 1999.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Austin of the home; mother, Helen Austin of Miami, Okla.; two sons, Brad Austin (Tammy), Justin Austin (Jessica), all of Wyandotte, Okla.; four brothers, Kenny Austin, Ronnie Austin (Brenda), Doug Austin, all of Miami, and Randy Austin (Lucy) of Ennis, Texas; two sisters, Carolyn Deaton (Ron) of Wyandotte, Cathy Sullivan (Johnny) of Grove, Okla.; and three grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services were held Friday, Oct. 12, 2018, at the Southwest City Cemetery in Southwest City, Mo.
