Laikyn Corie Glen Reece, infant son of Richie Reece and Janie Clark , of Noel, Mo., died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020, at Grove Integris Hospital in Grove, Okla. He was born on May 20, 2020, in Joplin, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard Harold Reece.
Survivors include his parents, Richie Reece and Janie Clark; grandparents, Teresa and Jerry Clark, Pamela Reece; and siblings, Austin Reece, Aryan Reece, Gunner Cook, Shiften Cook, Jax Cook and Ashley Reece.
Burial was Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020, in the Butler Creek Cemetery in Sulphur Springs, Ark.

Joseph Eugene Sprenkle Sept. 25, 1933 Sept. 24, 2020
Joseph Eugene “Gene” Sprenkle, 86, of Neosho, Mo. , died Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020, in the comfort of his residence.
He was born Sept. 25, 1933, in Neosho to Joseph Emmanuel and Vashti ( Fenimore) Sprenkle. He was raised in Neosho and graduated from Neosho High School. He furthered his education at Crowder College to receive an associate’s degree. On Oct. 15, 1955, he married Jo- Ann Henderson. Shortly after their marriage, they moved to California where he was empl oye d by General Telephone.
In 1969, they returned to Neosho and he was empl oye d by La- Z- Boy, retiring in 1998. He served his country in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Embattle during the Korean War. He was an active member of the Neosho LDS Church. He enjoyed gardening and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 56 years, Jo-Ann Sprenkle (March 10, 2012); a brother, Paul Sprenkle; and two sisters, Ruby and Opal Sprenkle.
Survivors are his six children, Joe Sprenkle (Edna) of Ontario, Canada, Stephen Sprenkle ( Vicki) of Kansas Ci ty, Kan., William Sprenkle ( Terri) of Parsons, Kan., Robert Sprenkle ( Virginia) of Billings, Mont., Nancy Layne ( Thomas) of Enid, Okla., Le-Ann Newberry ( Jamie) of Neosho; 29 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Graveside services with full military honors were held Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020, at Oakwood Cemetery in Neosho.
