This ‘Fresh Prince’ reunion is everything

Metro USA (New York) - - Gossip -

The cast of “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air” — the seminal, classic show that changed the lives of every man, woman and child in America — had a mini reunion and it is everything. According to Bustle, Alfonso Ribeiro, who lives forever in your heart as Carlton Banks, shared a photo of the reunion on Instagram.

“Always amazing to spend an afternoon with my Fresh Prince family,” he wrote. “Wishing that James Avery was still with us to make this complete.” Avery, who pitch-perfectly played Uncle Phil, passed away in 2014.

This gives me all the feels. I mean, Geoffery is there! Geoffery! And the second Aunt Viv!

Don’t get too excited, though — just because the old pals are reuniting for the ’gram doesn’t mean they’ll be reuniting for a revival: When E! News asked Will Smith about the possibility of a reunion, he said it wasn’t very likely. “I don’t think ever, like pretty close to when hell freezes over.” Alrighty then!
