DON’T MISS: “The
76th Annual Golden Globe Awards” – It might not be Hollywood’s most prestigious trophy bash, but this celebration of the year’s best movies and TV shows tends to be the most fun. Why? Because booze flows freely and the stars are usually in a chill-out kind of mood, which leads to entertaining speeches and off-the-cuff hilarity. Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg team up to host the event. (5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET, on Sunday, NBC).

MONDAY: To the surprise of no one, a highly predictable season of college football comes to a close with Alabama meeting Clemson in the championship clash at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. Alabama is seeking its second straight title and third in four years. (5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET, ESPN).
MONDAY: Break out the roses. “The Bachelor” returns with a new leading man – Colton Underwood – and 30 drama-prone women out to win his heart. As usual, a happily-everafter to this twisted fairy tale is not guaranteed. (8 p.m., ABC).
MONDAY: Susan Boyle vs. Darci Lynne Farmer? Oh, it is on! “America’s
Got Talent: The Champions” brings together some past winners and fan favorites from not just the U.S. version of the show, but its foreign franchises as well. Terry Crews hosts. (8 p.m., NBC).
TUESDAY: Maybe the truth is in here: The new drama series “Project Blue Book” is based on the reallife, top-secret investigations into UFOs and related phenomena conducted by the U.S. Air Force during the 1950s and ’60s. Aiden Gillen leads the cast. (10 p.m., A&E).
WEDNESDAY: Let’s raise a glass of trash juice and buckle up for the final season of the caustic romcom “You’re the Worst.” In the opener, Jimmy and Gretchen tell the story of their love to a prospective wedding planner. That can’t turn out well. (10 p.m., FXX).
THURSDAY: The resilient cop comedy “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” begins a second act of sorts. After being canceled by Fox, it launches a new season on a new network. Let’s hope it’s as funny as ever. (9 p.m., NBC).
THURSDAY: In the freshman sitcom “Fam,” an idealistic perfectionist (Nina Dobrev) sees her life upended when her wild teen half-sister (Odessa Adlon) unexpectedly moves in. (9:30 p.m., CBS).
FRIDAY: Season 2 of the time-traveling comedy “Future Man” picks up in 2162 as Josh, Wolf, and Tiger learn that their mis- sion to save the future not only didn’t work out, but triggered a war. Somehow they’ve got to fix that. (Hulu).
FRIDAY: “Sex Education” is a witty coming-ofage dramedy set in Wales. It follows an inexperienced, socially awkward high school student (Asa Butterfield) whose mother (Gillian Anderson) happens to be a famous sex therapist. (Netflix).
SATURDAY: Now that the mushy holiday movies are over, we can get back to demented crime stories. In “My Mother’s Split Personalities,” a widow (Lindsay Hartley) acts bizarrely while under the control of a boyfriend (Jefferson Brown) plotting to get his hands on the fortune left behind by her late husband. (8 p.m., Lifetime).
