Universal Orlando Mardi Gras concert lineup: Pitbull, Macklemore, Steve Miller Band, more
About a month before the official start of Mardi Gras, Universal Orlando has announced the slate of performers who are going to turn the park into the
Big Easy.
Rappers Pitbull and Macklemore, rockers Bush and the Steve Miller Band, and Caribbean su- perstars Sean Paul and Ziggy Marley lead the initial lineup for Universal Orlando Mardi Gras, running select weekend dates in February and March. Gavin DeGraw, Dan + Shay, Becky G, NF and at least three more acts are also on the bill.
In addition, a handful of New Orleans bands will perform in the park’s French Quarter Courtyard: Dirty Bourbon River Show (Feb. 19-17), Naughty Professor Brass Band (Feb. 18-27), Free Agents Brass Band featuring Honey Bannister (Feb. 28-March 18) and New Breed Brass Band (March 19-April 4).
Universal Mardi Gras runs daily from Feb. 9 through April 4, with nightly Mardi Gras parades, bite-size Cajun cuisine, Louisiana craft brews and headline concerts on select weekend nights. The celebration is included with park admission. Click here for details.
