8 PM G Mysteries Decoded Jennifer Marshall, a U.S. Navy veteran turned private investigat­or, previously has had occasion to examine alleged evidence of the elusive creature known as “Bigfoot,” but as this newsmagazi­ne opens Season 7, she teams up with cryptozool­ogist Andrew Sanford to scrutinize brand-new Bigfoot footage that has surfaced, this time from an official source. The episode also updates previous interviews with eyewitness­es and experts in this field of study.

8 PM ( TCM) MOVIE The Senator Was Indiscreet George S. Kaufman primarily is remembered as a playwright whose Pulitzer Prizewinni­ng collaborat­ions with Moss Hart still delight audiences today. In 1947, however, Kaufman stepped behind Hollywood cameras to direct his only film. The comedy stars William Powell, cast against type as a not-terriblybr­ight politician who decides to run for president. Ella Raines co-stars as a reporter who wants to get a peek at the senator’s juicy private diary. The film airs as part of a “Summer Under the Stars” salute to Powell.

9 PM ( FOOD) Restaurant: Impossible In the unusually emotional new episode “Branching Out in Missouri,” host Robert Irvine returns to family-owned Drake’s Place in Ferguson, Mo., where business has suffered due to both the ongoing coronaviru­s pandemic and lingering community unrest since the racially charged riots of 2014, following the police shooting of Black resident Michael Brown. Among his other improvemen­ts, Robert tries to help the owners expand their business to bring in more revenue and help the eatery catch its second wind.

9 PM ( WE) Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars As this season’s “Hip Hop Edition” continues with the new “Break the Cycle,” the Boot Campers reluctantl­y confront their past, with many of them sharing some truly shocking childhood traumas. Meanwhile, Tahiry struggles with Vado’s return to the house. Later, when Kurupt finally reaches a breaking point, Dr. Ish and Judge Toler are forced to make a difficult decision.

9:30 PM ( GOLF) PGA Tour Golf TPC Boston in Norton, Mass., is the scene beginning today as the top PGA Tour players get ready to do battle in the Northern Trust. Patrick Reed ended a 16-month drought here last year on the 7,216 yard, par 73 course, shooting a two-under 69 in the final round to register a one-stroke victory over Abraham Ancer. He’ll return to defend his title against a field that at this writing had not been announced.

10 PM ( TRU) Tacoma FD In the new “Firefighte­r’s Ball Part 2,” as the dance continues to get progressiv­ely rowdy, things start to spiral out of control for the crew. Terry and Eddie (Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme) get stuck in an elevator, but that doesn’t stop them from fighting it out anyway. Ike (Gabriel Hogan) has his hands full when Andy (Eugene Cordero) knocks back a few too many drinks and gets pretty wild. Granny (Marcus Henderson), meanwhile, finds a way to cut the tension with his date.

the highlights in the new courtroom footage introduced by host Dan Abrams, the overwrough­t brother of a murder victim tries to get direct revenge during trial proceeding­s, and a defendant turns into a one-man army as he takes on a team of courtroom officers. In another segment. a defendant causes alarm when he takes aim at a judge with a decidedly unusual potential weapon.
