Sargon Yelda and David Mumeni also star. 8 PM ( LIFE) Supernanny Jo Frost returns with new episodes of Season 8, in which she continues dispensing advice and wisdom to frazzled parents at their wits’ end dealing with more complicate­d family situations than ever before. This new episode finds Frost advising Michael and Angela Brown, who have combined two beds so their anxious sons can sleep with them. It’s a far from ideal situation that creates unhealthy attachment issues, but

Frost works closely with the full-time working dad and stay-at-home mum to address the problem.

8 PM ( TCM) Women Make Film Jane Fonda, Tilda Swinton, Kerry Fox,

Debra Winger and Thandie Newton are among the narrators of this new 14part documentar­y from writer-director Mark Cousins, which explores the work of some of the world’s greatest directors, all of them women. Among the spotlighte­d filmmakers and their works are Mira Nair (India), “Salaam Bombay!”; Barbara Kopple (USA), “Harlan County, U.S.A.”); Leontine Sagan (Germany), “Maedchen in Uniform”; Shaohong Li (China), “Stolen Life”; and Wanuri Kahiu (Kenya), “Rafiki.”

(Danielle Campbell) spends the day in the city with Nick (Billy Magnussen), she gets new clarity on both their relationsh­ip and what the future may hold for her in the new episode “Chapter 6: Guilt.” Jordan’s (James Wolk) relentless torment drives Eddie (Paul Wesley) to a breaking point, but Mitch (Michael Raymond-James) proffers a solution. 9 PM ( BRV) Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles “Hollywood Royalty,” the Season 12 finale, finds Josh Altman and Tracy teaming up to co-list an historic Hollywood estate once owned by legendary actor John Barrymore. Meanwhile, David and James pull out all the stops with their new East Coast traditiona­l listing, a stunning property listed at $20 million and located in a well known celebrity enclave, so all the other agents drop by during an open house to check out their competitio­n. 9 PM ( MTV) 16 & Recovering Michelle Lipinski, founder of Northshore Recovery High, welcomes students struggling with addiction and mental health issues in this poignant and engrossing new docuseries. Among the featured young people in “Episode 1” are Alba, who seeks help in her battle against suicidal thoughts, and Sam, whose troubling opiate addiction has him on a rocky road that threatens his future. 9 PM ( TLC) Counting On Not too long ago, John-David Duggar was the kind of guy who told his friends he planned to remain a “bachelor till the Rapture,” but the new episode “Meet Gracie Duggar” finds him transition­ing to a very proud new father-to-be. He prepares for the arrival of his first child by making a video for wife Abbie, whose initial labor pains at first are deemed a false alarm. Several overnight hours later, though, she and John-David meet their daughter.

10 PM ( TLC) Doubling Down With the Derricos In the new episode “Home for the Holidays?,” the yuletide season has arrived, prompting all the Derricos to pray for a Christmas miracle: namely, that little Awesome Dawsyn can finally leave the hospital and come home. When their long-shot wish comes true, though, Karen and Deon face a new challenge far greater than they’re ready for.

10:01 PM & Transplant This compelling new Canadian medical drama series stars Hamza Haq (‘Quantico”) as Dr. Bashir “Bash” Hamed, a Syrian doctor with battle-honed skills in emergency medicine who fled his home country with his younger sister, Amira (Sirena Gulamgaus). As they try to make a fresh start in their newly adopted country, Bash also strives to rebuild his medical career. Laurence Lebeouf, John Hannah, Jim Watson and Ayisha Issa also star.
