An article published Dec. 27, 2020, on the cover of the In Depth section with the headline “Why catch a bus when Miami-Dade will send a van to pick you up? A new perk for some” included incorrect information from the Miami Transit Alliance on the cost of the Freebee on-demand shuttle service in Palmetto Bay. The service costs about $11 per rider, according to information provided by Palmetto Bay and later confirmed by the Transit Alliance.
