How disconcerting to hear people in our communities call for the invalidation of an election that has been affirmed by Democrat and Republican authorities and state and federal courts.

If there is one area in the United States where people should understand the danger of glorifying a would-be autocrat, it is South Florida.

How many of us had to leave our birth countries because we, or our parents, put faith on a caudillo who would solve all our problems, only to see those problems magnified and our freedoms stripped?
