8 PM $ NCIS The competitiv­e business world of food trucks can be cutthroat, but the profession actually starts to rack up a body count in the new episode “Winter Chill,” which finds Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and his NCIS team launching an investigat­ion after finding a man frozen to death in the back of one of these commercial vehicles. Joe Spano reprises his recurring guest role as T.C. Fornell; Lawrence Kao, Adam Ferrara and Francis Gonzalez also guest star.

8 PM _ The Resident On her first day back at work, Nic (Emily VanCamp) is forced to confront her trauma head on when her assailant is admitted to the ER in the new episode “First Days, Last Days.” Elsewhere, a bitter Cain (Morris Chestnut), now in recovery, is determined to destroy Mina’s (Shaunette Renée Wilson) career, while Devon and Conrad (Manish Dayal, Matt Czuchry) are bemused by the wildly erratic performanc­e of new intern Leela (guest star Anuja Joshi) on her first day.

8 PM G The Flash After Barry (Grant Gustin) discovers that he suddenly has acquired the power of speed thinking, he attempts to use that new gift to save Iris (Candice Patton) in the new episode “The Speed of Thought.” While Barry revels in this new ability, though, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) is reluctant to trust it. shell goes off in the new episode “Just When We Thought We Were Safe” when the Busbys learn that Dale Mills — aka “Uncle Dale” — has tested positive for COVID-19. That unwelcome news puts the whole family on edge, and sends them back into quarantine. With life on hold, Adam, Danielle and their children anxiously await their own test results. Danielle also learns the status of the girls’ upcoming school year.

8 PM ( OWN) Queen Sugar In the new episode “Early-May 2020,” the health of Hollywood’s (Omar J. Dorsey) mother has sadly declined, but Charley and Micah’s (Dawn-Lyen Gardner, Nicholas Ashe) relationsh­ip continues to blossom, and Ralph Angel (Kofi Siriboe) is filled with pride at his new job. Elsewhere, Calvin’s (Greg Vaughan) daughter quarantine­s with him and Nova (Rutina Wesley).

9 PM G Superman & Lois Gregory Smith (“Rookie Blue”) directed the new episode “The Perks of Not Being a Wallflower,” which finds Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) sharing parts of his Kryptonian history with sons Jordan and Jonathan (Alex Garfin, Jordan Elsass) over a family breakfast. Meanwhile, Lois and Chrissy (Elizabeth Tulloch, guest star Sofia Hasmik) investigat­e further as they try to expose the truth about Morgan Edge (Adam Rayner).

9 PM ( FOOD) Chopped Frontline workers in the COVID-19 pandemic take the spotlight in the new episode “Cooked With Care!,” as four nurses beloved by their colleagues for both their compassion and mad kitchen skills bring their incomparab­le gift for TLC into the “Chopped” kitchen. In the entree round, the nurses must nurture a juice made from a vegetable and a prize protein, while a favorite hospital snack is an amusing surprise in the dessert basket. Ted Allen is the host.

9 PM ( HBO) COVID Diaries NYC Five young filmmakers ranging in age from 17 to 21, turn their cameras on themselves and their loved ones to tell the stories of their families during the first wave of the pandemic in New York. Incorporat­ing animations by Rosemary Colón-Martinez, these short films include “The Only Way to Live in Manhattan,” “My COVID Breakdown,” “When My Dad Got COVID,” “No Escape From New York” and “Frontline Family.”

9 PM ( OWN) Delilah Craig Wright, creator of the blockbuste­r drama “Greenleaf,” also is behind this new series, which revolves around headstrong attorney Delilah Connolly (Maahra Hill, “black-ish”), who left a powerful position with a law firm a decade ago to raise her two children, Maia and Marcus (Kelly Jacobs, Braelyn Rankins). Now, however, Delilah’s ready to get back into court, taking cases the big firms ignore, often going up against the privileged and the powerful.
