12:30 PM ( GOLF) 2021 U.S. Open Golf Championsh­ip Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego is the scene today through Sunday as the PGA’s top golfers tee it up in the year’s third major, the U.S. Open. A bulked up Bryson DeChambeau won this tournament in dominant fashion last year at a difficult Winged Foot in New York, bombing tee shot after tee shot and taking control in the final round to finish six shots ahead of the field.

8 PM ( HGTV) Hot Mess House Organizati­on expert and coach Cassandra Aarssen returns with more lifetransf­orming tips for disorganiz­ed clients who dream of transformi­ng their homes as this series opens a sixepisode sophomore season. Early on, Cassandra meets two such families and helps them through the critical first step of declutteri­ng the space as much as possible. Next, she and builder-craftsman Wendell Holland design special projects that will up the organized functional­ity of each room in the houses.

Eric, decide to rent a guest house on their property and quickly find a prospectiv­e tenant in Josh, who’s willing to pay a hefty amount for a shortterm lease. Moreover, he seems like a renter without any obvious baggage — until his behavior takes a turn for the worse that makes his landlords very uneasy. Brittany Underwood, Kristos Andrews and Jacob Taylor star in this 2021 melodrama.

8:31 PM $ United States of Al Riley and Hazel (Parker Young, Farrah Mackenzie) bring home an adorable lost dog that both of them hope to keep, but Al (Adhir Kalyan) is dead set against that idea for some reason in the new episode “Dog/Spai.” Meanwhile, Art (Dean Norris) goes on his first date with Lois (guest star Rachel Bay Jones from Broadway’s “Dear Evan Hansen”). 10 PM * The Hustler Craig Ferguson returns to host the sophomore season of this clever quiz show in which one of the five contestant­s competing for a large cash prize has a big secret: He or she already has been given the answers to all the questions. It’s up to one of the four honest players to figure out who this “hustler” is in order to keep that shady player from walking off with all the winnings. This season’s episodes were taped in a bubble following all COVID-19 precaution­ary guidelines.
