8 PM ( The Dead Files Former TRAV) homicide detective Steve DiSchiavi and medium Amy Allan uncover multiple unsavory secrets lurking in the dark corners of a haunted theater in Washington in the new episode “Bloody History.” Later, they investigat­e a North Carolina man’s claims that he is being terrorized by a ghost in the home where he grew up.

8 PM ( Level Playing Field “The HBO) Assist,” the finale to this four-part docuseries, explores how sports and politics often intersect by examining the landmark role the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream played in the election of U.S. Sen. Raphael Warnock, as well as the ongoing fight against aggressive voter suppressio­n in Georgia. The impassione­d campaign the team’s players mounted against then-Georgia Sen. (and team owner) Kelly Loeffler had an undeniable impact on one of the most closely watched U.S. Senate races in history.

8 PM ( MAX) MOVIE Deerskin Best known for his Oscar-winning turn in the title role of 2011’s “The Artist,” French actor Jean Dujardin also earned critical kudos for his performanc­e in writer-director Quentin Dupieux’s darkly comic 2019 horror film. The actor stars as Georges, a middle-aged drifter who becomes obsessed with owning a very expensive deerskin jacket. Able to think of little else, Georges quickly blows through his modest life savings and is forced to turn to a life of crime. Adèle Haenel, Albert Delpy and Pierre Gommé also are featured.

9 PM _ Our Kind of People In the new episode “Hot Links & Red Drinks,” Angela (Yaya DaCosta) wants Nikki (Alana Bright) to be the face of Eve’s Crown and forces Leah’s (Nadine Ellis) hand about the incubator program. Meanwhile, Piggy (recurring guest star Debbi Morgan) confronts her past, while Raymond (Morris Chestnut) faces off with Teddy (Joe Morton) about getting his company back. Elsewhere, Lauren (Rhyon Nicole Brown) brings her grandmothe­r Rose (guest star Susan Spain) to the Juneteenth Rose Ball, where the older woman spills a family secret.

9 PM ( 2021 Hip Hop BET) (VH1) Awards Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion are neck-and-neck competitor­s with nine nomination­s each as this year’s edition of the annual awards event showcasing hip hop performers, producers and music video directors airs from Atlanta. The two performers share nomination­s on “WAP,” which is up for best hip hop video, best collaborat­ion and song of the year.

9 PM ( The Nate & Jeremiah HGTV) Home Project Designers and married fathers of two Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent create meaningful and personaliz­ed renovation­s that give family homes a true emotional resonance in this new six-episode docuseries. In the series premiere, Berkus and Brent venture into Queens, N.Y., to help two sisters keep the charm and cherished memories of their childhood home alive, while giving the mid-century property an open floor plan and a fresh color palette.

9 PM ( My Big Fat Fabulous Life TLC) While on a painful break with her French man, Whitney grapples with her own jealousy and tries to appear pleased after hearing Chase’s happy news in the new episode “A Big Fat Disappoint­ment.” Eventually, the French man breaks his silence and reaches out to Whitney, but he seems torn between his need for privacy and the prospect of a romance with her.

10 PM ( Dinner: Impossible FOOD) Joined by his team of unflappabl­e sous chefs, host and chef Robert Irvine travels to locations in California, Michigan, New Mexico, North Carolina and Ohio as he returns for Season 10 of this cooking series, in which he must overcome some staggering obstacles while trying to prepare and serve delicious meals to his hungry and expectant guests. Among the season’s six new episodes, Irvine heads to Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio, to celebrate that location’s 150th anniversar­y by hosting a dinner for the park’s super-fans.
