Miami, Florida - It is with great sadness that the family of Colin Edward Ward, age 80, born in the Village of Spondon, City of Derby, in Derbyshire County, England on July 10, 1941, passed away in his home in Miami, Florida, USA on November 21, 2021. Educated in England at Broomfield Hall and Lackham School of Agricultur­e, he travelled the world while working for the Internatio­nal Harvester Company. He went on to work for Cessna Aircraft Company and traveled throughout Central and South America and the Caribbean selling Cessna Caravans and Citation jets. He is survived by his wife, Beatriz Anita (von Wald) Ward, who he married on July 6, 1968

Your Adoring Family in Santa Marta, Colombia, South America, his son, Dr. Christophe­r Colin Ward, married to Angie (Saxon) Ward, and his daughter Jennifer Anne (Ward) Maseda, married to Luis Maseda, and his two grandchild­ren, Isabella and Sebastian Maseda. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney Lewis Ward and Lydia (Whiteside) Ward, as well as his brother David Ward. He was a faithful, devoted, loving husband, father, grandfathe­r, and dear friend who always put family first. His faith in God, easy going character, and dry British sense of humor stood him in good stead with all the friends and colleagues he met and helped while traveling throughout the world. He was deeply loved and will be missed so much. A funeral mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Miami, Florida on November 24, 2021. His final resting place is Caballero Rivero Woodlawn South Cemetery in Miami, Florida, USA. He is driving his tractors, plowing his fields, and flying his airplanes in heaven. May his soul rest in peace, surrounded by the light and love of God.
