9PM & Mr. Mayor The political comedy returns for a special episode called “Mr. Mayor’s Magical L.A. Christmas,” wherein Mayor Neil Bremer (Ted Danson) is such a slave to his compulsion for gift-giving that he forces his staff to work on what’s known as “L.A. Christmas Eve” so his “perfect gift” will have time to arrive. Holly Hunter, Vella Lovell, Kyla Kenedy, Mike Cabellon and Bobby Moynihan also star. The series returns in early 2022 for its sophomore season.

9:30 PM & Chrisley Knows Best In the special seasonal episode “A Very Chrisley Christmas,” Nanny Faye is feeling unusually nostalgic as the holiday season reaches its zenith, so she offers to serve as Christmas morning host to the family. Todd, ever the control freak, reluctantly agrees to her proposal, then promptly butts heads with his mother over whether couture or kitsch should dominate in the decorations for the gathering. Young Chloe has a different worry in that she’s not sure whether Santa will be able to find her at a different address on such short notice.
