Miami, Florida - Weinstein, Norma Elaine, 90, of Miami Beach. Beloved wife of the late Henry Weinstein of 52 years. Loving mother of Andrea Siassipour, Dr. David (Tracy) Weinstein, and the late Ann Weinstein Koch. She was the loving sister of Myles Sheer. Cherished grandmother of Gillian (Chi) Koch Chan, Dr. Sasha (Dana Szpunar) Siassipour, Dr. Annie (Dr. James) Melotek, Emery Weinstein, Sarah Weinstein, and Hannah Weinstein. Devoted great grandmother of Lily, Alexander, Liam, and Adrienne. Beloved daughter of Paula Sheer and Samuel Sheer of Boston, Massachusetts.

Norma moved to Miami Beach in the 1940s. A member of the Miami Beach High School graduating class of 1949, she helped plan reunions and maintained friendships throughout the years. She attended the University

of Miami and assisted Dr. Harold Klock, a periodontist. Her husband, Henry Weinstein, was actually a patient of theirs.

Her love for her community was evident in everything she did. She spent much of her time volunteering and contributing through her service with the Mt. Sinai Garden Club (past president), Miami Beach Garden Club (life member, officer), the City of Miami Beach Beautification Committee, and Normandie-SUD HOA (board member). Norma along with her husband, Henry, generously donated to the First Congregation Sons of Israel in St. Augustine, FL. Norma also contributed to countless charities throughout the world. She was the quintessential hostess, her home was the gathering point for family celebrations and holidays for the past 60 years. She was kind, compassionate, and generous. Norma Weinstein’s humanity and absolute dedication to her family, friends, neighbors, and everyone whose life she touched is unsurpassed. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
