and the Caribbean. She gave up her career and love of flying after getting married in 1960, as stewardess­es weren’t allowed to be married in those days. She lived on Key Biscayne raising her two children who were the love of her life. She later divorced and remarried. In 1981, she moved to Ormond Beach with her late husband, Charles Peck. She worked in retail sales for many years at Belk’s and later at Bealls in Ormond Towne Center. She was such an amazing women who was so full of life and joy. We will miss her dearly. She is survived by her brother, Uwe Zitzow, son, Michael Manning (Susan), daughter, Marianne Smith, 6 grandchild­ren and 4 great-grandchild­ren. Visitation Wednesday, 2/16, 6-8pm Lohman Funeral Home, Ormond Beach. Mass on Thursday, 2/17, 1:00 pm at Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
