Hollywood, Florida Morton R. Goudiss, 91, passed away February 4, surrounded by his loving family. Morton was born in Newcastle, Delaware before he and his parent’s, Lee and Marie, moved to Miami Beach in 1933. His grandfather, Sol Goldstrum, opened the first bakery in Miami Beach and later Lee took ownership. Morton grew up in the era when Miami Beach was simply a charming beach town. He graduated from Miami Beach Senior High before attending the University of Miami, where he joined Zeta Beta Tau and began many of the friendships he maintained throughout his life.
