Raymond C. Tatum May 21, 1928 March 16, 2022

Miami, Florida Raymond “Ace” C. Tatum was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He left this world peacefully on March 16, 2022 surrounded by his family. Raymond is survived by his wife Sheryl “Sherry”, sister, Ellen (Phil); children, Kenny, Ray (Annie), and Nancy; grandchildren Robert (Mandy), Michelle, Andrew, Nikki (Mike), Matt (Shanyn), Danny and Rachel; and great-grandchildren Lauren, Sarah, Mikey, Ryleigh, Ethan, and Nolan. He is pre-deceased by his wife and mother of his children, Smyrna and his eldest son, Jimmy. The true family man he is, Ray maintained an amazing relationship with Jimmy’s wife, Abby, and her children Daniel and Sarah. Ray dedicated 43 years to the City of Miami and Miami-Dade County. Ray will be remembered for his wit, his love of family, and his unwavering support of the Miami Hurricanes and the Miami Dolphins.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday 3/23 from 10am-12pm at Van Orsdel Funeral Home, Coral Gables.
