The series premiere features a couple whose love for a beautiful yard blinded them to the woeful house attached to it. Kim rebuilds their chaotic and cramped quarters into a home fit for a growing family.

Using archival material, found footage, animated recreations and interviews with classmates and a teacher, Rosenthal weaves together a collage that revisits that moment in time that had been obscured by the elusive nature of memory yet still resonated decades later.
