Pembroke Pines, Florida - William “Bill” Winkleman, 81, of Pembroke Pines, passed away on 3/23/2022 in the home he shared with his wife.

His Alma Maters included Coral Gables High School, University of Florida, and University of Miami. After graduating from the University of Miami, he went on to found W.W. Sales, Inc., where he enjoyed great success for over 30 years. In his down time, Bill enjoyed boating, fishing, and cooking. At the 23rd Annual Coconut Grove Art Festival in 1986, his famous “Big Bills Brownies” took 1st Place for Taste. In 2006 he became a Chairman for the Hunt for Bonefish, which raised money for Alzheimer’s research by “Casting for the Cure”. He is survived by his wife Marcia; children Amy Simons (Barry), Adam (Whitney), Michael (Claudia), and Sean McAuley; grandchild­ren Chloe, Dani, Molly, Olivia, Lukas, West, and L’ea; sister Sally Sage. Donations may be made in Bill’s honor to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
