Alan Goldberg April 3, 1936 - March 22, 2022

Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Alan Goldberg, 86 years of age, a resident of The Ocean Club of Key Biscayne, passed away on March 22nd in Fort Lauderdale.

Mr. Goldberg and his wife Marjorie were Key Biscayne residents for the past twenty four years and also part time residents in Westport, Connecticu­t. Alan and Marjorie prided themselves on their loving marriage and of being a real team in everything they did.

Alan was the president and publisher of American Baby Magazine. He was instrument­al in developing several magazines, new mother gift package programs and TV Series all for the expectant and new mother market Retiring at age 49 from American Baby, Alan and Marjorie traveled for fourteen months on their sailboat Amour V. Leaving from Antigua they crossed the Atlantic Ocean and spent time in France, Spain, Italy Sardinia and all through the Caribbean.

After retirement, Alan became a golfer and did part time consulting for several companies in Key Biscayne. Alan Loved his family and was very proud that he had become a great grandfathe­r to baby Sonny last February.

Alan will be sorely missed by all of his family and friends and especially by his wife of 46 years Marjorie Sovel Goldberg. Alan and Marjorie had four daughter: Gail (Joe Singer), Jill (Mark Egert) Hope (Steve Levin) Robin Ventura and seven grandchild­ren: Sara Ventura, Nina Ventura, Zachary Ventura, Brandon Cohen, Jessica Cohen, Julia Singer, Rachel Singer and great Grandchild Sonny Ventura Lopez. Sisters Laura (Edward Edelman) and Mimi (Allen Lubowsky). Alan was preceded in death by his parents Irving and Ida Goldberg.
