SUCH DISRESPECT
An April 1 letter rightly points out that Democrats, in the past, made despicable accusations and posed disrespectful questions when Republicannominated candidates for the Supreme Court came before them.
The writer also says that claiming Republicans bullied Judge Ketanji Brown is ludicrous. But the opposite is true. Senators such as Ted Cruz wasted time grandstanding and insulting the candidate.
Democrats and Republicans should show more respect by asking meaningful questions with a decorum that reflects the seriousness of appointing a Supreme Court justice.
