With nuance and tenderness, this sensitive film interweaves the medical study with the personal ups and downs of these women.

Using her skills and intuition, Vest gives her traumatized patients a second chance at a normal life by painstakingly creating amazingly realistic prosthetics, which often go undetected to the casual observer.
