Miami, Florida - The family of Marc Mazis is deeply saddened to announce the passing of their son and brother. He is survived by his loving parents, Bernie (deceased) and Eileen Mazis and sister Cheryl Mazis Shechter. Marc’s nephews and nieces, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends will forever be blessed by his loving spirit.

Marc ran a successful mortgage company both before and during his long illness. His kindness and compassion for others will be remembered forever.

Funeral services were held privately.

Miami, Florida - Charles L. Balli, 62, died peacefully in his sleep on April 22, 2022. Born on May 21, 1959 in Coral Gables, Florida, Charles attended West Laboratory Elementary, Ponce de Leon Junior High, Coral Gables Senior High, and the University of Miami-where he obtained his Juris Doctor degree in 1986 and thereafter was admitted to the Florida Bar.

As a youth, Charles was very active in the Children of the American Revolution. He served in offices of the local Tequesta Society and as a State President of Florida. As a participan­t in C.A.R., he traveled across Florida and the United States and made friends, many of which he kept all his life. Charles generously supported Florida

Gainesvill­e, Georgia Tom Smith, 83 passed away suddenly on May 1st at his home in Gainesvill­e, Ga. Mr. Smith was born on November 26th, 1938, in Miami, Florida to Zodie and Ollis Smith.

He had a successful career as a business owner in constructi­on and shipping. He was a member of the Internatio­nal Union of Operating Engineers. Also, a proud member of the Mahi Shrine Temple and Royal Order
