8PM * MOVIE Finding Dory

In this sweet 2016 sequel to the 2003 animated blockbuste­r “Finding Nemo,” Ellen DeGeneres reprises her beloved voice performanc­e as the title character, a plucky little fish with profound short-term memory problems. Moviegoers clearly remembered how much they loved the original movie, though, since they flocked to this follow-up, which racked up the highest global gross of any 2016 animated release and became the third highest-grossing Pixar film ever. The voice cast also includes Albert Brooks, Kaitlin Olson, Ty Burrell, Diane Keaton and Ed O’Neill.

8 PM (BET) MOVIE Trophy

Wife Christian Sesma’s 2022 crime drama stars Erica Peeples (TV’s “All American”) as Toni Carter, who has a complete breakdown and ends up in a mental health facility after receiving the shocking news that her husband (Sean Patrick Thomas, “The Tragedy of Macbeth”) has been murdered. Compoundin­g her distress, Toni herself has been falsely accused of the crime, forcing her to fight to prove her innocence while discoverin­g who betrayed her late spouse. Tiffany Black, Chris Sakyi and Timothy Adams also star.

8 PM (HALL) MOVIE Road Trip Romance Margo (Natalie Hall) is overjoyed to be the maid of honor in her sister’s wedding, which is taking place in Wichita, Kan., in three days. Margo needs to be there as soon as possible, though, to oversee the bacheloret­te party and the rehearsal dinner before the big day. Sharing the ride with her is Alden (Corey Sevier), who competed with her throughout high school and is also due in Wichita for her father’s retirement celebratio­n. Julia Borsellino and Elana Dunkelman also are featured in this 2022 romantic comedy.

8 PM (LIFE) MOVIE Fit to Kill

A young woman who yearns to be part of the fashion industry is over the moon with joy when she is hired to work for a celebrity model turned designer. She quickly learns that landing a dream job sometimes can turn out to be a nightmare, though, after she is forced to endure some extreme emotional outbursts on the part of her boss, not to mention a series of bizarre events. Revell Carpenter, Sarah Voigt and Maeve Quinlan star in this 2022 thriller.

8PM (HBO) MOVIE The Matrix Resurrecti­ons Fourth time proved not to be the charm for director and co-writer Lana Wachowski’s 2021 installmen­t in the blockbuste­r “Matrix” franchise, which underperfo­rmed at the box office, although critics and fans alike praised the performanc­es by an impressive cast. Taking place 60 years after the third film, “The Matrix Revolution­s,” the story follows Neo (Keanu Reeves), whose seemingly mundane life as a video game developer is disrupted by a programmed version of Morpheus (now played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II). Carrie-Anne Moss, Jonathan Groff and Neil Patrick Harris co-star.

9PM (OWN) Love & Marriage: DC This new docuseries, the first franchise spinoff in OWN’s network history, revolves around Monique and Chris Samuels from “The Real Housewives of Potomac.” In their highly anticipate­d return to reality TV, the fan-favorite pair are joined by two other couples and friends: Erana and Jamie Tyler, and Ashley Silva and her husband, radio personalit­y DJ Quicksilva.

10 PM (OWN) The Nightcap With Carlos King Reality show producer Carlos King, the creator and executive producer of OWN’s unscripted “Love & Marriage” franchise, hosts this new talk show, in which he welcomes guests from some of the network’s most popular shows to let their hair down and share their behind-thescenes perspectiv­e on some of the hottest storylines from their series. This half-hour program also will feature some surprise guests from King’s personal “little black book” of celebrity pals, who dish on pop culture topics and participat­e in a variety of games and challenges.

10:03 PM (LIFE) MOVIE Revenge Best Served Chilled An aspiring sommelier decides to enter a cutthroat training program, in a desperate bid to help save her family’s restaurant. Almost immediatel­y, however, she notices strange and unsettling things starting to happen, and she runs into trouble with her competitio­n rivals at nearly every turn. Just when she thinks things couldn’t get more desperate, they do, as several competitor­s start turning up dead. Even worse, she finds herself framed for their murder. Lyn Kim Do, Monique Parent and Michael Swan star in this 2022 thriller.
