Passionate for his community, Sabeto was an esteemed leader, serving as President of Temple Moses - Sephardic Congregati­on of Florida, President of FeSeLa, the Latin American Sephardic Federation, and President of the Latin section of Israel Bonds.

Sabeto enjoyed baseball, dancing, and traveling. He loved his daughters, Susana Garazi Levine (Jack) and Diana Garazi Semel (Andy Ziffer) and cherished his grandchild­ren, Matthew Levine, Daniel Levine, Marissa Berger (Evan), Stephanie Levine, Erica Semel, and Jordan Semel. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Solomon Garazi and Max Garazi and his sisters, Linda Bejar and Cheny Tachmes.

Sabeto will be dearly missed by the entire community, and by all those whose lives he touched. Services were held Tuesday at Temple Moses with burial at Lakeside Memorial Park Cemetery.
