Miami Beach, Florida Garazi, Sabeto, 88, passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 23, 2022. He was born on April 5, 1934 in Havana, Cuba to Turkish and Syrian parents, Belina and Isaac Garazi.

Sabeto cared deeply about his family and loved spending time with them. He married Ida Shwartz in 1956, with whom he raised two adoring daughters, Susana and Diana. He later shared many years with his beloved partner, Raquelita Silverstei­n.

Sabeto proudly earned a degree in Accounting from the University of Havana. In 1960, he and his family fled the communist regime to build a new life in Miami Beach. He began a career in the retail furniture business and then embarked on an accomplish­ed 39-year

Miami, Florida - Daisy Lou Dunn Crews Gaskill, 93, passed away July 18, 2022. She was born to Marguerite and Frank H. Dunn in Tulsa, Oklahoma on February 26, 1929. Daisy Lou grew up in Tulsa and graduated from the University of Oklahoma where she met Robert Lee Crews. They married in 1951 and moved to Nashville where he attended Vanderbilt Medical School and Daisy Lou taught elementary school. Daisy Lou and Dr. Crews moved to Miami in 1956. After Dr. Crews passed away in 1965, Daisy Lou found love again and married Dr. Earl R. Gaskill in 1967 with whom she shared 34 wonderful years until his death in 2001. She was a member of Riviera Country Club where she was an avid tennis, golf and bridge player and was a volunteer with several of Miami’s nonprofits.
