One of auto racing’s most venerable tracks, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, is front and center today as NASCAR Cup drivers get set to do battle in the Verizon 200 at the Brickyard. A field including Joey Logano, Chase Elliott, Ross Chastain and William Byron will go at it on the 2.5-mile quad oval in a race won last year by A.J. Allmendinger, who overcame a pit road speeding penalty on Lap 33 to take the victory.
