the 1970’s. Then he started a business called Run N’ Roll, selling roller skates and sneakers. After that, he traveled around the world to nearly every continent designing and importing shoes for his company, Fantasia.

After a fast paced life, he ended up in Hollywood, Florida working for his dear brother Bobby, going on to run and own the company after Bobby’s demise. It was in Hollywood that he met his Michele, the love of his life, in 1985. In 1986, they married. They were inseparabl­e ever after. They traveled, they played golf, he loved the game. Steven was a gardener extraordin­aire. They called him “Mr. Green Jeans.” They never had children. His many nieces and nephews and special children of friends in his life were close to him as though they were his own. He called them his kids. They spent time with him and brought him their problems. They listened even if they did their own thing. They loved him and respected him. They were always calling and he treasured that.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Michele Dunn Baker, sister Linda Kanner (Dr. Steven), brother -in-law Marc Dunn ( Caryn), 10 nieces and nephews, many grand nieces and nephews and all who knew and loved him.

Miami, Florida - Regina Perez passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on September 1, 2022, at her home in Miami, Florida.

Regina Perez, née Sabah, was born the youngest of five children in Izmir, Turkey on January 1, 1927. Her family immigrated to Montevideo, Uruguay in 1930 where she spent her childhood assisting in her parent’s dry goods shop.

She met Isaac Perez at a community dance for Jewish ex-pats in Uruguay in 1947 and, shortly thereafter, the two married, had their first child, Eliseo Perez and moved to Cuba for a short while. In 1950, the family immigrated to the U.S. and eventually settled in Miami, Florida. There Regina had her second child, Fortuna Perez Stuzin.

Although she only ever received the equivalent of a fifth-grade education, Regina had an inquisitiv­e mind, a strong head for business and a magnetic charm that made her a stunning success in everything she applied herself to.
