8 PM (ESPN) NFL Football A clash of NFC West rivals is on tap tonight at Levi’s Stadium, where Trey Lance and the San Francisco 49ers welcome in Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams. Lacking salary cap space and a first round pick, the Niners made no big acquisitions and actually took a step backward this offseason following their 10-7 record in 2021. The Rams made a few personnel changes over the summer that have them primed to repeat their victory in Super Bowl LVI this past February.

The film airs tonight as part of the channel’s “Creepy Cinema” movie marathon. 9 PM (HGTV) Love It or List It After 25 years together raising two active sons and building their careers, Nina and Earl are ready to make a decision: do they renovate their dated split-level home or do they let David Visentin find a better option that suits their love of midcentury modern design? Nina wants to prove to Earl that with Hilary Farr’s help, their house can go from awkward and drab to fabulous in the new episode “Midcentury Modern Makeover.”

9 PM (LIFE) Meet, Marry, Murder Despite a rocky start, Savannah and Trent Paschal seem like the perfect Suburban couple — madly in love and proud parents. 10 PM * The Good Doctor Just

when you start to think “happily ever after,” you find yourself in a hospital with someone’s crazy ex-boyfriend stabbing people. In the Season 6 premiere episode “Afterparty,” Dr. Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore) and Lea Dilallo (Paige Spara) go from a romantic newlywed dance on the roof to a bloody scene of hostages. Among them: Dr. Morgan Reznick (Fiona Gubelmann) and Dr. Asher Wolke (Noah Galvin). And time is running out for Dr. Audrey Lim (Christina Chang).

11 PM ^ POV Call it the field of dreams. Three Cuban baseball players leave their families and risk exile to chase their hopes of playing in the United States.
