Dolly Parton, Shirley MacLaine, Sally Field, Daryl Hannah, Olympia Dukakis and Julia Roberts light up the screen and pepper the air with commentary that’s occasionally sweet, often acidic, but always witty. The byplay between Dukakis and MacLaine is priceless.
