North Miami, Florida June Bonyor had an exuberance for life right up until heart failure took her from us. She was born in Philadelphia, PA to Morris and Ida Jackson. She married Albert Bonyor in 1939 and moved to New Jersey residing in Newark, West Orange and Livingston. In New Jersey she attended Rutgers University for horticulture and provided programs for various groups lecturing on flower arranging.

She was active in her community with the Hospital Guild and Guild for Jewish Children. In retirement June and Al moved to North Miami Beach, FL and continued their charitable work. She held the position of President for Friends for Life, raising funds for the University of Miami Medical School Research and was the medical referral chairman as well. June and Al were also members of Founders for Mt Sinai Hospital. Spending summers at Chautauqua Institute, Chautauqua, New York, they created a dance scholarship.

When asked what advice she would give young people, her answer is a vivid picture of how she lived her life: 1)Save your money; 2) Take care of your; healthvery important; 3)Get plenty of sleep; 4) Eat good food & on time; 5) Stay in good company-have good friends, friends are very important, people you can depend on & they are enjoyable;,6) Be clean-immaculate! With everything-yourself & the environment; 7) Temperament-even, no highs or lows, placid, but not too placid-that would be dull; 8) Education: get one!; 9) Marriage: be certain that you care for them and they are clean, immaculate; make sure that they are happy & content; 10) Exercise: daily & complete, all around, make sure you get every part of your body-every part is important, especially the smile on your face. Nobody likes a crab-no one!; 11) Make the best of your situation-it’s not easy, but do it!
