* Formula 1 series makes its first of two fall stops in North America as Austin, Texas, plays host to the United States Grand Prix. A field including Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc and George Russell will take to the Circuit of the Americas, a 20-turn, 3.426-mile configuration that boasts plenty of elevation changes and a long straight that offers prime opportunities for overtaking. Verstappen is the race’s defending champion.
8 PM The Simpsons Ahh, the
_ simple joys of youth: laughter in the park, flirting with cuties, and being chased by a horrific homicidal clown who wants nothing more than to gut you like a fish on a camping trip. In this “Treehouse of Horror” Halloween episode, a young Homer (voice of
Dan Castellaneta) and his teenage friends are pursued by a diabolical circus employee in a spoof of Stephen King’s novel “It” in the new episode “Not It.” Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright, Yeardley Smith, Hank Azaria and Harry Shearer are also heard.
8 PM (HALL) MOVIE A Kismet Christmas Sometimes fairy tales do come true. Sarah (Sarah Ramos) is a children’s book author who returns to her hometown after being away for years, and she reconnects with her family and Travis (Carlo Marks), her teenage crush. She soon discovers that a long-held family legend might actually be true in this 2022 romance. Dragon In the Season 1 finale episode “The Black Queen,” generational tensions continue to rise in House Targaryen’s dynasty and dragon power in Westeros, but just who will we be sending sympathy cards to? If you read “Fire & Blood” you might already have a guess, but for those who have not, expect the unexpected. Stars include Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy and Rhys Ifans.

$ (Chris O’Donnell), Hanna (LL Cool J) and Hetty (Linda Hunt) join forces with the FBI when a group of grisly murderers known as “The Body Stitchers” returns after evading capture by NCIS years ago in the new episode “The Body Stitchers.” Also, Sam’s dad (Richard Gant) makes a new friend in Arkady (Vyto Ruginis). The final four carvers duke it out to earn the title of “Outrageous Pumpkins” Champion in the Season 3 finale episode “Gourd Games.” First, host Sunny Anderson challenges them to create a larger-than-life children’s toy with a nightmarish spin. Then, the carvers must create a sinister depiction of a popular playground pastime. Special guest Maneet Chauhan joins judges Paul Dever and Terri Hardin to decide which carver takes home the grand prize.
