She and Toto follow the yellow brick road, making friends with an unlikely trio along the way. Ray Bolger, Bert Lahr, Jack Haley, Margaret Hamilton and Frank Morgan co-star. 8PM & MOVIE Trolls Poppy (voice of Anna Kendrick), the relentless­ly sunny and optimistic leader of the trolls, and Branch (voice of Justin Timberlake), a grumpy troll survivalis­t, embark on an adventure that takes them far beyond the only world they’ve ever known in this 2016 computer-animated blockbuste­r from Dreamworks.

8PM (HALL) MOVIE Three Wise Men and a Baby Three brothers are surprised when they find themselves forced to care for a baby during the holidays. But during the journey they begin to repair their relationsh­ips as brothers while rediscover­ing their love for Christmas in this 2022 comedy. Stars include Tyler Hynes, Margaret Colin, Andrew W. Walker, Paul Campbell, Felicia Simone, Matt Hamilton and Paul Almeida.

8PM (LIFE) MOVIE Santa Bootcamp When event planner Emily Strauss (Emily Kinney) is hired by mall magnate Ed Mancini (Patrick Cassidy) to stage the ultimate Christmas Gala for his most important investors, she finds herself being sent to Santa Bootcamp in order to find the perfect Santa — and for inspiratio­n she will need to make the evening a success. While there, Emily meets Belle (Rita Moreno), the bootcamp’s drill sergeant, who helps Emily rediscover the magic of Christmas and find romance along the way in this 2022 holiday movie. 8PM (HBO) The 2022 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony This year’s inductees include the likes of

Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, Duran Duran, Eminem, Eurythmics, Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie and Carly Simon. Meanwhile, Judas Priest and Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis are inducted for Musical Experience; Harry Belafonte and Elizabeth Cotten for Early Influence; and Allen Grubman, Jimmy Iovine and Sylvia Robinson for the Ahmet Ertegun Award.

8PM (BBCA) Life in Color With David Attenborou­gh David Attenborou­gh travels the globe to show humans nature in a way it has never been seen before. Thanks to new camera technology, the series premiere episode “Seeing in Color,” reveals colors that are invisible to the human eye. It also explores how color is a part of communicat­ion, how it is used by animals to attract attention, win a mate or even fight enemies, by creating messages we are incapable of perceiving by the naked eye.

10:15 PM (TCM) MOVIE The China Syndrome While doing a report on alternativ­e energy sources, reporter Kimberly Wells (Jane Fonda) witnesses an accident at a nuclear power plant.

Her reports entangle her in a sinister conspiracy to keep the full impact of the incident a secret in this 1979 thriller. The film is part of the channel’s “Reframed: Films That Shaped Our Culture,” as the American public turned against nuclear power when the Three Mile Island nuclear plant accident happened just two weeks after the film was released in theaters. Michael Douglas and Jack Lemon also star.
