8 p.m. The Mark Twain Prize for America Humor The 24th Mark Twain Prize for American Humor ceremony celebrates Adam Sandler, the man who gave us films such as “Happy Gilmore,” “The Wedding Singer” and “Uncut Gems.” Appearances by Conan O’Brien, Drew Barrymore, and more. 8 p.m. The Way Home The family that grieves together, heals together. Kat (Chyler Leigh) and Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow) attend Colton’s (Jefferson Brown) funeral. Then Del (Andie MacDowell) goes to the grief group and makes peace with her memory of Colton. Kat has a new theory about Jacob (Remy Smith) in the season finale episode “Not All Who Wander Are Lost.” Evan Williams, Alex Hook, Marnie McPhail and Samora Smallwood also star.
9 p.m. Succession With the sale of Waystar Royco to tech visionary Lukas Matsson (Alexander Skarsgard) inching closer, the prospect of the sale rears angst and division among the Roys as they picture their lives once the deal is done. A power struggle ensues as the family weighs a future with diminished cultural and political weight. Not surprisingly, battle lines have been drawn with Logan (Brian Cox), Tom (Matthew Macfadyen), Greg (Nicholas Braun) on one side and the four Roy siblings on the other in the Season 4 premiere. 9 p.m. Yellowjackets In this season premiere, it’s two months into winter, and the survivors are struggling to cope with falling rations, low morale, and their latest disastrous attempt to freeze a teammate out of the game. Season 2 will feature Elijah Wood in a guest role.
10 p.m. Eva Longoria: Searching for Mexico Promising to offer armchair travelers and food lovers a glimpse of Mexico’s diverse and vibrant gastronomy, culture, and landscapes, actress, producer, director, and activist Eva Longoria serves as a virtual culinary tour guide in this new series. She explores the culinary and cultural riches of Yucatan, Mexico City, Oaxaca, Nuevo Leon, Jalisco, and Vera Cruz. Stanley Tucci of “Searching for Italy” fame serves as an executive producer.
