Coral Gables, Florida I am saddened to announce the passing of my beloved and devoted husband, Floyd Krause. Floyd was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1940 where he grew up, graduated from college and law school, began his career with Chicago Title Insurance Company, and then moved to Florida shortly after marrying Elaine Klein. They lived on Miami Beach, where their son, Aaron was born, and Floyd continued working for Chicago Title for 35 years. I met Floyd in 1993, three years after his wife passed away, and was fortunate that he treated my daughter as his own. Upon his retirement from
Chicago Title, Floyd then worked for North American Title as President for eleven years. He was well respected by all in the Title Insurance industry and was active in the FLTA. He loved gardening and volunteered for over ten years at Fairchild Tropical Gardens. We were fortunate to travel quite extensively, but what Floyd loved best, was visiting our young grandson in New Jersey as often as possible. Floyd became an integral part of Beth David Synagogue in every aspect, and loved and cared for the institution since our marriage in 1994. Floyd is survived by his son, Aaron, his stepdaughter, Dara Beth, our wonderful grandson, Zachary Alexander, and many nieces and nephews in the Chicago area. Also surviving him is my Reinhard family, who loved and welcomed him with all their hearts. He passed away, suddenly, on May 7th, shortly after returning from Israel. In loving memory--Faith Funeral services were held at Beth David Congregation on May 9th.
