Pine Hill, New York Audrey Adler Taylor, 72, of Pine Hill, NY died peacefully on Friday May 12, 2023 at her home. She was born May 4, 1951 in Lynchburg, VA daughter of the late Abe and Faye Slotkey Adler. Audrey earned her B.S. degree in Special Education at the University of Tennessee. She made her home in Miami, FL where she had been a travel agent for ten years. She later founded Ms. Taylor’s LunchIn that identified a need at the Cushman School and developed at the time of construction. 24 hours to complete, approximately 13,500 CY, 138 x 270 feet wide and 11 feet deep.
Dennis also completed various parking garages and additions to: Miami Metro Rail Improvements, Aventura Mall – Burdines Parking Garage, Fort Lauderdale Airport Parking Garage, Miami International Airport, Nova Southeastern University, Barry University, Florida International University, Miami-Dade College, Saw Grass Mills, Sunset Place, Cutler Ridge Mall, and many more.
Dennis was integral to the growth and expansion of the Miami skyline as the city transformed into the thriving metropolis it is today.
Dennis was predeceased by his mother and father Mal and Delphine Mello.
Dennis is survived by his wife Diane Mello, his 6 children: Carmen (Bill), Maximilian, Zachariah, Denise (Sam) Mekras, Mariah (Josh) Anderson, and Anastasia, his grandson Dennis Mekras, his sister Debra Mello (Jeff Quinn), and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 11:30 am May 23rd at St. Louis Catholic Church 7270 SW 120th St followed by a Celebration of Life at Stanfill Funeral Home (10545 S. Dixie Hwy at 1:00 pm. Please send yellow flowers to Stanfill Funeral Home or donations to St. Louis Catholic Church or St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church.
