8 a.m. (6) 2023 Tour de France :Stage 1 Stage 1 of the 110th edition of world’s most famous cycling event, known as Le Grand Depart, kicks off with a 182-km medium mountain stage from Bilbao, Spain. The route includes five climbs, the last at 10 percent before dropping back down to Bilbao.
10 a.m. HALL Movie :Undercover Holiday Kicking off Hallmark’s “Christmas in July” month-long holiday movie marathon, this film follows pop star Jaylen (Noemi Gonzalez), who returns home for Christmas and must pretend her overzealous and protective new bodyguard is actually her new beau.
11 a.m. FOOD The Kitchen This time, Jeff Mauro shows off some of his best group recipes, while Geoffrey Zakarian and Sunny Anderson team up for two takes on French bread pizza. Afterwards, everyone pitches in to create a black forest pudding cake and an Easter egg nest cake.
12:35 p.m. SYFY Movie :Jaws the Revenge The family of widow Ellen Brody (Lorraine Gary) has long been plagued by shark attacks, and this unfortunate association continues when her son is the victim of a massive great white. In mourning, Ellen goes to visit her other son, Michael (Lance Guest), in the Bahamas, where she meets the charming Hoagie Newcombe (Michael Caine). As Ellen and Hoagie begin a relationship, a huge shark appears off the coast of the island, and Ellen’s trouble with the great whites begins again.
1 p.m. (39) LIV Golf League :Valderrama, Day 2 Day two of the Liv Golf League broadcasts live from the Valderrama Golf Club in Sotogrande, Spain, with this years’ event seeing Spanish star Sergio Garcia after he captained the Fireballs GC to LIV wins in both Bangkok (2022) and Tucson, Ariz. (2023).
4 p.m. AMC Movie :National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation It’s a day full of Griswold family fun, with “National Lampoon” movies airing back-to-back. Starting with “Christmas Vacation,” Clark (Chevy Chase) , Ellen (Beverly D’Angelo) and the kids then pack up and head to Europe, Walley World and Vegas.
4:40 p.m. MAX Movie :Edward Scissorhands This Tim Burton film follows Edward (Johnny Depp), who was left unfinished by the inventor who created him, left only with scissors in the place of hands. When a relentlessly cheery Avon Lady meets him, she takes the misunderstood man to live in suburbia.
6 p.m. HGTV Build It Forward In this new episode, Shane and Taniya travel to Washington, DC to meet the Chief Program Officer at Horton’s Kids, an organization that provides essential services to local kids. Lowe’s helps to renew her home and the organization’s new headquarters.
