Miami Herald - - WORLD | DEATHS -

Two thirds of senators and representatives need to believe that providing government services and paying federal workers is more important than building a border wall.

Re the Jan. 11 story “PortMiami will grow even bigger than originally planned — if new MSC Cruises terminal is approved.”

What is missing is that mega-cruise ships are built, registered and crewed foreign, while Carnival Cruise Line has a contract with China to build two cruise ships — with an option to build four more — for the Chinese market. All other orders for new mega-cruise ships are going to foreign shipyards with none for our own market.

Aren’t we missing the boat for prestige, good jobs, tax collecting, reducing the deficit and “Making America Great Again?”
