Strip clubs are sure to be hopping this weekend

- Miami.com Staff Report

Remember when Weezy made it rain at a Dallas strip club right after the Green Bay Packers won the Super Bowl?

Well, we don’t know if Lil Wayne — who is set to release his new album “Funeral” on Friday, — will be making the rounds at Miami’s strip clubs during this week’s Super Bowl festivities, but should you decide to do so, there is no shortage of clubs to choose from in South Florida.

Miami is the capital of adult entertainment, offering everything from Latin and hip-hop themed clubs with fully nude dancers swinging on poles to multiplex entertainment with celebrity deejays and a night club feel.

But make no mistake. It’s not just about the nightlife and the booty shaking to that Miami bass sound made famous by Uncle Luke and 2 Live Crew. Strip clubs like Tootsie’s Cabaret in North Miami and Booby Trap Doral also cater to a daytime crowd where the men come suited up to enjoy lunch and happy hour specials while taking in the view.

Here is your guide to

some of Miami’s top strip clubs and what makes them stand out from the competition, besides the booty shaking talent of course.

BOOBY TRAP ON THE RIVER

3615 NW S. River Dr., Miami; 305-637-9200

BOOBY TRAP DORAL

5325 NW 77th Ave., Doral; 305-477-2176

Sometimes referred to simply as BTs, these strip clubs play reggaeton, hip hop and cater to a mostly Latin crowd, though the women hail from all over. A certain former pro boxer has been spotted at Booby Trap on the River. Each one of these BTs has their own different vibe. For example, while Doral caters to a daytime crowd with its two-for-one drink specials from noon to 7 p.m., BT on the River can sometimes seem like a ghost town during the day but is popping at night. BT Doral is next door to LaBare, where it’s the guys who hit the stage and the ladies watch.

CLUB LEXX

12001 NW 27th Ave., Miami

Formerly club Rolexx, this is the granddaddy of them all, catering to a mostly local crowd. Over the years, it has offered everything from adult videos to boxing to the food trucks in the parking lot.

CLUB MADONNA

527 Washington Ave., Miami Beach; 305-5342000

For Super Bowl week, Madonna is staying open 24 hours, rather than its usual 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Cover is $20 for gentlemen and $10 for ladies. It’s a complete nude show on three stages with girls from all over the world. It also features private dancing rooms and big screen TVs. The crowd is a mix of locals and tourists and drinks start at $5. The club offers beer, wine and champagne.

Sorry, no hard liquor.

CLUB PINK PUSSYCAT

3900 NW 36th St., Miami; 305-633-4000

One of Miami’s most infamous strip clubs, with its neon pink sign lined with dancing naked ladies, Club Pink Pussycat reopened last year after being closed for a decade. The club’s once sleazy rep has been replaced with 12 “pristine” champagne rooms, a VIP rooftop cabana, hookah service, and a revamped menu featuring lobster, churrasco, prime rib, and lamb-chop lollipops. The club is open daily 4 p.m. to 5 a.m. 21 and over. Admission is $10.

E11EVEN MIAMI

29 NE 11th St, Miami; 305-829-2911

You can have a celebrity DJ for you while you watch an acrobat hang from the ceiling at E11Even Miami. It’s a strip club with nightclub feel. Here, everything revolves around the center stage. The club also offers a separate rooftop restaurant with its own entrance that’s opened from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m., Wednesdays through Saturdays. The club charges an entertainment fee based on who is performing for the evening, and has lots of specials for Super Bowl week. DaBaby, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg and Cardi are on the line up during Super Bowl weekend.

G5IVE MIAMI

337 NW 170th St, North Miami Beach; 305-9174548

If you want to see some wild pole dancing and other acts of acrobatics, then G5ive is the spot you want to hit. And it’s all about booty shaking to that Miami sound.

SHADOW CABARET

766 E 25th St., Hialeah; 786-401-6081

Located in the heart of Hialeah, Shadow Cabaret is one of South Florida’s newer strip clubs. Among its attractions: a free lunch everyday from noon to 4 p.m. and spacious private dance and VIP rooms. If that’s not titillating enough, then try this: The club offers The Scarface room, which features a private shower, wet bar and portraits of Tony Montana from the movie “Scarface.” What you do in the shower is between you and your god.

THE OFFICE

250 NE 183rd St, Miami; 305-627-3456

This is where you can be cash-strapped but still be regarded as a baller, thanks to the affordable bottle prices including Hennessy. This is also where you’re likely to find a lot of locals, including some of the K.O.D., King of Diamonds, crowd watching the ladies move to that Miami sound.

TOOTSIE’S CABARET

150 NW 183rd St., Miami; 305-651-5822

Not far from the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens is this club where you can expect to spy a real baller (or footballer). The club also boasts some of the tastiest food (think fried lobster) among gentlemen’s clubs. There is a happy hour every day from noon to 8 p.m. with drinks half off. On Sundays through Thursdays, admission is $8 per person after 8 p.m. and on Fridays and Sundays, it is $10 per person after 8 p.m.

There are no restrictions for ladies coming by themselves, but it’s one girl per guy to get in free.

The club boasts four full liquor bars, a sports bar in the back, pool tables, three stages and private champagne rooms and sky boxes. A private entrance allows players to go in without being seen while the VIP rooms allow attendees to enjoy the scenery without being bothered. Meanwhile, the tight security also makes it harder for anyone to get stalked on their way home. Another asset, according to the club’s management, “We have the most girls at any other clubs in Miami.”
