Who is Julián Gil’s new girlfriend? A Mexican TV sports reporter
Julián Gil may be going through a bitter custody battle over his young son with ex Marjorie De Sousa, but he’s got someone in his corner.
The actor, who owns La Placita restaurant in Morningside, posted a sweet, nose-nudging picture of him with his new (ish) lady love.
She’s Mexican sports reporter Valeria Marín, who has worked for Fox and Televisa; their relationship apparently blossomed during quarantine.
“Thank you my love for giving me these six months of peace and unconditional love,” wrote the Argentina native. “I thank life for putting me in your path. I love you.”
While some commenters were happy about the situation, others warned that De Sousa might not give her blessing to the couple. The exes have been engaged in war over little Matías, 3, for some time now. Gil claims De Sousa is trying to get full custody and cut his father completely out of his life.
“Marjorie is not ready for this post,” read one and advised the telenovela star, 50, to get ready for another lawsuit.
Marin shared a similar romantic post, with the caption calling Gil her “partner in peace and happiness.”
“Grateful to find us without looking for us and to be able to share my happiness with you and yours.”
As for De Sousa, her most recent post reflects that she is unbothered, walking up steps with her back to the camera.
“Have a marvelous day,” wrote the actress. “Remember to always smile.”
