Re the Nov. 19 story “Insurgent describes how betrayal turned invasion into slaughter:” There has been no after-reporting about substantial assets in Venezuela that were picked up and arrested.

This leads to the conclusion that this group of fewer than 50 was going to create a coup on their own without logistical support or organized assets within the targeted country.

Planning must have been minimal for such an adventure, and the moles within doomed this from the start.

This one was right out of the comic books.

Why aren’t Donald Trump and Rudy Giuliani filing lawsuits in Florida to overturn the patently fraudulent state Senate election of Ileana Garcia?

Republican tricksters put forward and funded a fake candidate with the same last name as Sen. Jose

Javier Rodriguez, to confuse voters and steal votes from him.

It’s not enough for the fake candidate, Alex Rodriguez, to be prosecuted for election fraud. Those who were behind his fake candidacy must also be held to account.

Given the election fraud perpetrated on the voters of Senate District 37, a new election should be held. Surely Trump and Giuliani will pay the costs in order to ensure a fair election in which every legal vote is counted.
