Jean Munchick April 4, 2021

-

Plantation, Florida - It is with great sadness that the family of Jean Munchick announces her passing on Sunday, April 4th, at age 92.

A longtime resident of Miami Beach, she was the proprietor of Youngland Fashions in Surfside. Jean was also an avid golfer and bridge player. An excellent cook, her chicken soup will never be equaled and was always an adventure to eat as she never discarded the bones. She loved to travel, see new things, and meet new people. She will be remembered for her insatiable curiosity, always reaching out to discuss things she had seen or read.

Ever loved by her family, we will never forget her infectious laugh, generosity, and words of wisdom (a clean car drives better).

Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Joe. She is survived by her daughter, Marcia (Tom) Harman; sons Jeff (Candy) and Robert (Karen Hyman); grandchildren Becky (Brad) Harman, Lauren (Omar) Moussawel, Matthew, and Erin; and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside service in memory of Jean will be held Wednesday, April 7th, at 11:30am at Lakeside Memorial Park.
