PLAIN WRONG

A certain large portion of the intellectually challenged part of the population say they will not get the COVID-19 vaccine. This is unacceptable. A COVID passport mandate might help convince these freedom-loving individuals to get the shot.

It’s not about personal rights but rather, the opportunity to enjoy the things we used to take for granted without the fear of death. The ability to dine indoors, take a flight or a cruise, see a movie or show, and hug friends and family overrules anyone’s freedom of choice.

Gov. DeSantis is wrong to forbid the implementation of an official COVID passport or to tell businesses they cannot require proof of vaccination to enter.

Milam’s Market requires proof of age from everyone purchasing alcohol — and I’m over 70!
