9PM G Black Lightning Khalil Payne (Jordan Calloway) is struggling to make a fresh start for himself in the new city of Akashic Valley, but that involves burying a very dark past as a superenhanced human killing machine known as “Painkiller” in a new episode of that title. Now, that haunting history comes crashing back into Khalil’s hopeful present as he is thrust back into action with a new mission: to dispense justice where once he meted out punishment. 9:01 PM _ America’s Most Wanted Host Elizabeth Vargas wraps up Season 1 of this reboot of a long-running true-crime series as she joins experts Paul Holes and Yodit Tewolde to analyze a variety of cases involving dangerous wanted fugitives, inviting viewers to come forward with any information or leads they may have. Among the spotlighted fugitives in tonight’s finale are aspiring rap musician Maurice Nesbitt, who fled custody after being convicted of his estranged girlfriend’s murder; Frederick Arias,a former Department of Public Safety trooper accused of a $9 million fraud scheme; and Josephine Sunshine Overaker, a notorious eco-terrorist.
