TRIAL SEPARATION

-

I’ve never agreed with Leonard Pitts Jr., but for the first time, I do.

In his July 21 column, he noted that the United States will never be the same again after all the changes that have occurred and suggests Democrats need to find a new “union.”

He also wrote that in a recent poll, two-thirds of Southern Republicans favor a secession. I fully agree. All states west of the Mississippi can form a socialist, liberal, big brother, welfare country.

All states east can continue to be a capitalist, conservative, hard-working, small government country.

In 50 years, we will see which one is similar to North Korea or more like South Korea.
